Website Creation/Editing Archives

A picture paints a thousand words… but if you’re not careful, buying stock pictures can add up to thousands of dollars!

If you’re a blogger or web designer I’ll bet you spend a lot of time searching for low cost or free stock images to use on your blogs and websites?… I know I do.

It can be very tempting to just jump onto Google images to find what you need and save yourself a few quid, but as innocent an activity as that may seem to some, it constitutes copyright theft and will soon land you in a big pot of hot water with the law.

This is just a short blog to recommend some free software I’ve used to help edit my websites and eBay templates and the images contained within them.  There are some very expensive alternatives (such as Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop) which have all sorts of extra bells and whistles, but I find the following programs work perfectly well for most tasks and are reasonably easy to use after a bit of practice.  If you have any problems using them, do as I did and search for instructional videos on You Tube and you’ll soon master them.
•    NVU – This version is called KompoZer and I have found it is less ‘buggy’ than the original NVU.  It is WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) website editing/building software – you can download it at:-
