Hi Mick,

Great to hear from you and thanks for the great feedback!

Spamming is definitely an issue on Twitter, but I think the pros of using it outweigh the cons.

On the plus side, Twitter seems to be cracking down on this problem, so hopefully things will get better soon.

In the meantime, don't let the spammers put you off utilising this great traffic generating tool to your advantage.

It'd defo be great to meet and catch up soon. ;)

Take care,

Steve

I got a bit fed up with being spammed, however it would be foolish to ignore its power as a tool for bringing in traffic.
wow you put so much into your posts I have learned a lot from you
hope to meet up with you soon.
thanks Steve
mick.

Hi Paul,

Good to hear from you my man. ;)

Couldn't agree more about using twitterfeed wisely.

I have set my account to only send one automated feed tweet per hour, and I'm very careful about choosing my RSS feeds, to ensure the content is always relevant to the majority of my followers.

Thanks for your comment and speak soon,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Those are some great tips there my friend, like you say it's always important to be socialable on sites like Twitter. You'd think it would be obvious, but some people just miss that point completely.

Twitterfeed is a very good tool, but you have to be careful which feeds you add, and not to add too many feeds as well, or you can end up with it dumping 20 tweets at once on your account.

But adding just a couple of carefully selected feeds, and it can be great for your Twitter account.

I look forward to your next post.

Paul.
